Job Description At Fairmont St Andrews, we create unforgettable moments in an iconic coastal setting. We are now looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our talented Events team and play a key role in delivering outstanding events within our luxury 5-star resort. As Event Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, guiding events seamlessly from planning through to flawless execution. You will build trusted relationships with meeting planners, collaborate closely with internal teams, and ensure every event exceeds expectations. A little more about what you will be doing: Manage the smooth handover of confirmed business from Sales to Event Planning Oversee all planning details including contracts, deposits, room blocks and key deadlines Act as a trusted partner to clients, offering creative guidance and expert recommendations Liaise closely with operational departments to ensure events are delivered seamlessly Lead on BEOs, resumes and event documentation to the highest standard Be present during events, responding proactively to any changes or client needs Monitor billing, attrition and final accounts, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy Apply effective revenue and yield management to maximise profitability Accurately forecast weekly event revenues and maintain strong commercial awareness Qualifications Proven experience in event management within a luxury hotel or premium venue Confident, professional and warm communicator with a passion for service Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Commercially minded, with experience managing revenue and budgets A natural relationship-builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about creating memorable experiences and want to be part of a world-class hospitality brand, we would love to hear from you.
