Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all CSA events across our global network. They lead on the execution of the annual Global Chief of Staff Dialogue, industry Masterclass programmes, and member receptions, ensuring all events align with the CSA’s Communications Strategy and Engagement Strategy to drive sales generation, business development, and membership retention.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Event planning and delivery

  • Deliver member receptions across CSA’s global network to agreed standards and brand.
  • Lead planning and execution of the Global Chief of Staff Dialogue.
  • Oversee logistics for Masterclass programmes including venue, travel, accommodation, catering and AV.
  • Manage all aspects of speaker liaison from invitation to on-site support.
  • Work with Regional Directors and the Engagement team to assess and approve regional event proposals.
  • Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget and to a high professional standard.

Budgeting and financial oversight

  • Manage event budgets in collaboration with the Director of Communications.
  • Monitor expenditure, track against budget and maintain cost-efficiency.
  • Provide budget forecasts and post-event financial reports.

Strategic alignment

  • Align all events with CSA’s Communications and Engagement Strategies.Support development and delivery of an Events Strategy for business development and membership retention.

Flagship events and initiatives

  • Plan CSA’s participation in the World Economic Forum and other key conferences.
  • Coordinate representation at strategic forums to meet organisational objectives.

Impact measurement and reporting

  • Track KPIs including attendance, lead conversion and retention.
  • Provide post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and manage follow-up surveys and membership outreach.

Relationship and stakeholder management

  • Build strong relationships with venues, suppliers and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners and sponsors to maximise event success.
