Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The person appointed will take full control of the processes for taking and administering courses, conferences, and other training products. This is a mixture of face to face and online training events. It will involve liaising with presenters, facilities and clients. They will work closely with both the Recruitment and Events Directors, in planning and promoting events and responding to requests from schools and teachers. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working on their own initiative and as part of a close-knit team. The job will be based in the company’s office in Sedbergh, though home working will be possible during school holidays.
There will be an occasional evening required to host webinars over Zoom. All webinars last between 60-90mins. They may also be required to attend our annual PADSIS conference in Oxford, which requires an overnight stay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researching & booking venues.
  • Liaising with tutors to confirmed event dates
  • Signing venue contracts.
  • Adding events to the database.
  • Updating the website with events info, tutor info & images.
  • Creating JI’s & sending these multiple times for reminders and late addition bookings.
  • Preparing/Editing/ course resources
  • Creating zoom links. Sending to tutor & delegates
  • Downloading webinar recordings before editing & uploading to YouTube.
  • Sending out event feedback forms.
  • Processing online bookings and responding to customer queries
