Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Events Manager will hold an important position within Aspen Digital’s events team, working on marquee events such as the Aspen Cyber Summit and Shared Futures: The AI Forum, as well as high-touch gatherings of various sizes around the U.S. and potentially abroad. The Manager, in concert with the broader events team and other Aspen Digital staff, will lead and execute on all aspects of event production while interacting with a range of partners and internal and external stakeholders.
This position will report to the Director, Events and Special Projects, Aspen Digital. The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000. This is a hybrid, Washington, DC-based position. Selected candidates are expected to work in person at the Washington, DC office approximately two days per week. This role will require occasional travel.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Project manage and execute small, medium, and large-scale event logistics from start to finish, whether as part of a team or alone.
  • Research, manage, and liaise with event vendors, including but not limited to venue staff, AV companies, caterers, and supply companies.
  • Oversee registration operations using Cvent and other form-building platforms.
  • Create & track event budgets through the entire life cycle, from initial creation to debriefing actual expenses.
  • Create basic printed & digital assets, including agendas, participant lists, bio books, and printed signage using branding guidelines.
  • Manage and organize onsite materials and setup.
  • Provide onsite logistical support, including staffing registration, overseeing vendors, coordinating with venue staff, managing load-in and load-out, and ensuring all attendee needs are met.
