SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

• Background in Marketing, Communications, or related field, with an understanding of the tech startup ecosystem
• Proven experience in event marketing and management, particularly in the technology sector
• Eye for design, strong writing and content creation skills for social media and email marketing
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple engagements and events
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms, as well as Microsoft Office applications
• Adaptability to handle both virtual and physical event environments
• Passion for innovative and emerging digital technologies
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior executives of high-growth digital tech startups
• Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours to accommodate event schedules

• Create engaging pre-event and post-event marketing content for social media platforms and Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) campaigns
• Support preparation and planning for both virtual and physical events that promote IMDA’s Accreditation and Spark programmes and companies
• Manage on-site event logistics to ensure smooth execution of events including networking, showcases, workshops and roundtables
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase event attendance and engagement
• Analyse event performance and marketing campaign metrics to inform future strategies
• Collaborate with industry partners, Government agencies and internal IMDA divisions to support the growth of companies in the Accreditation and Spark programmes
• Conduct research on digital tech startups and industry trends to support programme development and marketing efforts and other ad-hoc tasks as required
