Role Detail As part of the Brand & Marketing division, you will drive and implement the firm’s Brisbane events calendar. From VIP boardroom lunches and client breakfasts to market leading webinars and cocktail evenings, you will be instrumental in delivering brand impact through exceptional experiences. You will also lead and manage Brisbane sponsorships and partnerships and ensure alignment with the firm’s strategy. We are looking for someone who thrives on organisation, brings creative flair, loves building relationships and has strong stakeholder management. Key responsibilities include: Proactively contribute to and deliver on our strategically aligned client engagement strategy as part of both the Brisbane and national events program Managing sponsorships and partnerships, finding and maintaining strong external relationships that benefit the firm Coordinating the planning and delivery of a high volume of virtual, in-person and hybrid events, seminars and sponsorship activations as part of both the Brisbane and national internal and client events program Working with teams across the firm to make sure events support the firm’s strategy and strengthens relationships with clients Harnessing data and insights to create high-impact events and campaigns that maximise ROI Guiding and mentoring junior team members Keeping projects on track financially, staying within budgets and reporting results Proactively seeks more efficient ways of working, leveraging technology and AI tools to generate fresh ideas Reporting regularly on event performance, team progress, and stakeholder feedback. About You A role like this needs a networker and collaborator when building strong trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers; exceptional attention to detail to ensure every element of each event runs smoothly; commercial awareness to understand what drives business results, to then tailor events, sponsorships and campaigns accordingly; and strong project and time management skills to be able to juggle many projects at once. You will also bring: Solid experience in planning and delivering end-to-end events of excellence in a fast-paced corporate environment Skills in developing industry relationships, evaluating, negotiating, and activating sponsorships and industry partnerships to drive brand visibility, client engagement, and commercial value Applying strategic thought and an ability to connect the dots Commitment to being at the forefront of the corporate events industry with a strong desire to create fresh & unique experiences and stay ahead of trends Experience in managing budgets High level of computer skills, with experience in word-processing (i.e. Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (i.e. Excel), presentation packages (i.e. PowerPoint) and CRM systems and marketing platforms such SalesForce and Eloqua A confident communicator with a proactive approach, ability to think strategically and bring fresh ideas to the Brisbane events and sponsorship calendar Ability to work flexible hours, including breakfast and evening events - infrequent weekend work may be required Tertiary education in event management, marketing, or related field (desirable) Next Steps Please click ‘Apply Now’ to apply online with your cover letter summarising why you’re applying and your resume to support your experience.
