In this exciting role, you’ll be the key link between corporate clients, our catering team, and third-party suppliers—ensuring every event, from conferences and exhibitions to formal dinners, runs seamlessly from planning to delivery.What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with corporate clients to understand event goals, audiences, and catering requirements
• Advising on menus, room layouts, and event logistics
• Preparing proposals, function sheets, and floorplans
• Coordinating with suppliers and third-party vendors
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols for large-scale events
• Providing accurate cost estimates and managing event budgets
• Negotiating with vendors to ensure best value and quality
• Identifying and delivering upselling opportunities
• Managing contracts, deposits, and invoices in line with Compass policies
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle
• Problem-solving to ensure flawless event execution
• Leading site visits and conducting post-event reviews for continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive and enthusiastic team player who lives our values and takes pride in delivering excellent service
• Experience or a strong interest in hospitality and event planning
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work across multiple systems
• Comfortable handling client feedback, resolving complaints, and maintaining compliance
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Honest, reliable, and driven to exceed expectations
