Events and Programs Specialist   Role Information * Location: Wesley Glen- 5155 N. Creating an environment that is conducive for wellness and fun throughout the organization.    Responsibilities * Participates in planning and leads creative community events and programs of interest to residents and families * Organize volunteers * Prepares activity assessments and MDS for each resident according to regulatory requirements and completes participation in Caretracker * Assists with arranging transportation to events, programs and field trips as necessary * Implements passive exercise and wellness programs on the nursing units  Requirements * CNA certification preferred * 2 years of experience in social or recreational programming in health care setting working with residents Dementia preferred * Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with demonstrated creativity  * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  * Ability to pass a pre-employment background check * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Life Enriching Communities is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and compliance with the applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
