We’re looking for an enthusiastic Conference & Sales Coordinator to join our hotel team. Whether you already have events experience or are looking to develop a career in hospitality, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow and be part of creating memorable conferences and events. 32 hours per week, 4/5 days (dependent on business needs) Job Description What You’ll Be Doing Working with Clients Be the friendly first point of contact for conference and event enquiries Help clients plan their events from initial enquiry to the final farewell Conduct hotel show rounds and build strong relationships with guests Spot opportunities to enhance events with upgrades and added services Support the sales office team with enquiries, bookings and administration tasks Planning & Coordination Assist in planning meetings, conferences and events of all sizes Coordinate room layouts, catering, timings and AV requirements Prepare clear event details and share them with hotel teams Event Delivery Be visible and hands-on during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly Work closely with food & beverage, kitchen and front office teams Quickly and confidently handle any last-minute changes or guest requests Learning & Development Gain experience using hotel booking and event management systems Develop strong organisational, communication and sales skills Receive on-the-job training and support from experienced colleagues What We’re Looking For Essential A positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong communication and customer service skills Good organisation and attention to detail Confidence working with people and as part of a team Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends Previous experience in an events/hotel role Desirable (But Not Essential) Previous experience in hospitality, events or customer service IT confidence (training provided on systems) Experience using BackYou/Opera Cloud Additional Information Why Join Us?
