This is a full-time maternity cover position from 1st September 2025 until end of July 2026 with the potential to extend. The role is office-based at Clandeboye Lodge and offers a 40 hours workweek, 5 days out of 7 days incl. weekends.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and developing strong relationships with potential and existing clients from the wedding, conference and leisure sectors
  • Dealing with daily email correspondence related to new enquiries, existing business and other matters
  • Conducting wedding and event showarounds and appointments with clients
  • Provide event planning support and collaborate with wedding couples and event organisers to ensure a smooth and successful event
  • Upselling products and services to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Creating Banquet Event Orders and carrying out other daily administration tasks
  • Liaising with the marketing team on marketing initiatives, guest feedback and business development opportunities.

Occasional duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Attend training courses as required
  • Occasionally assist the operations team to support service delivery
  • Perform any other duties that may be requested by the sales manager and/or general manager

Clandeboye Lodge is one of Northern Ireland’s top hotels, looking after 300+ events per year. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a challenging but flexible role with one of the most respected brands within Northern Ireland’s hospitality industry, recognised as North Down’s premier wedding & events venue. You’ll work closely with the general manager, three highly motivated colleagues in the sales team and a passionate events operations team to manage and oversee the full event sales cycle, from initial enquiry to post event follow up.
