DESCRIPTION

Newsquest Media Group seeks a dynamic Promotions and Consumer Event Sales Executive to enhance reader interaction, engagement, and copy sales for our Eastern Counties newspapers and magazines. The role involves executing a promotional plan that aligns with our strategy and event sales program.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Proven experience in sales and promotions, preferably within the media or publishing industry.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments.
• Experience in organizing and managing events, including logistics and staff coordination.
• Proficiency in creating marketing materials and promotional content.
• Ability to analyse competition engagement and report findings.
  Please note that this role will involve hybrid working with a minimum of 1-2 days in the office, as well as fieldwork as necessary to visit clients and oversee event sales.

• Deliver promotions to boost single and multiple copy sales.
• Present promotional plans to increase reader engagement and interaction.
• Collaborate with Content colleagues to ensure promotional plans are communicated effectively.
• Produce point-of-sale artwork and marketing plans for major promotions.
• Track and report on competition engagement.
• Manage outdoor events, including stock ordering, staff booking, and revenue tracking.
• Maximize sales at events, ensuring a positive brand image.
