In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, handling any breaches of event regulations, and managing the safe and professional removal or refusal of entry when necessary. You will arrive at the venue at the designated times set by the Securitas Management Team, attend pre‑event briefings, remain on site until formally stood down, and carry out both pre‑event and post‑event safety checks. Throughout the event, you must ensure the ongoing safety and comfort of all spectators within your assigned area. To be considered for this role, you must be fully available for the Labour Conference in Liverpool between 24th September 2026 and 30th September 2026, as this is a key deployment period for our Events Security team. That includes: Assist in preventing overcrowding by adhering to crown limits in various parts of the venue Control and direct spectators entering and leaving the venue Identify and investigate any incidents among spectators and report findings to a supervisor, completing incident reports as necessary Report any damage or defects that could pose a threat to spectator safety Constantly monitor your area for signs of distress or overcrowding and take appropriate action Attend pre-briefings to understand necessary information Ensure the safety and comfort of spectators within your designated area at all times Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role.
