Securitas Canada Limited EVENTS SECURITY SUPERVISOR POSITION Location: EDMONTON Must be available for 80% of all Major Events in the 2026 Special Event Season. RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Event Security Supervisor Responsibilities but not limited to: Be able to supervise a team of 10-20 guards at a time, and able to support their team. Must have Event Security Experience in a leadership capacity, preferably 3 years and above. Perform Security Checks using systems such as EVOLV system, including Bag Search, pat downs and Wanding protocols. Must be able to write an incident report and review your team’s incident report. Must be able to coach, train and mentor their team effectively. Must be able to communicate effective in English both Verbally and in Writing Observes and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel. Must be able to work where liquor is being sold and be able to be certified with AGLC for Liquor legislation and enforcement. Must be able to work in all-weather as most events are outside in all types of weather conditions. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Satisfy client and management needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets. Experience in dealing with various law enforcement agencies. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid Alberta Security License Must have a minimum of 3 years of Security Supervisory experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years in Event Security Experience. Must have Open Availability, especially available during the evening and weekends as most events are within those criteria. Must have or be able to complete AGLC certification of Protect and Proserve Must be able to work in all-weather as most events are outside in all types of weather conditions. Must have reliable transportation to and from the site or be able to utilize public transportation. Any Certification relating to this role will be considered an asset.
