Overview The Office of The Vice President for Research and Economic Development, External Engagement & Support Office is looking for Student Assistants to help with various tasks as needed. Hours can vary according to class schedules, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Responsibilities Assist the Event Director with the following duties: Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, decor, and audio/visual equipment. Assist clients with pre-event planning, coordination of event setup, as well as audio-visual technical assistant. May perform duties alone or collaboratively with supervisors and/or event operations staff. Monitor event inventory of equipment, supplies, and furniture etc. Monitor event space to ensure cleanliness and organization. Other duties as assigned.
