Description

We are looking for an Events Supervisor to help run our amazing events at our Lacock Garden Centre.
The ideal candidate must be very organised and focused, with a good eye for detail and be able to plan ahead.
This is a temporary role until the end of December 2025.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Assist running Whitehall’s adult and children’s activities and events
  • Running the activities on a day to day basis and to co-ordinate a team of staff
  • Assist in rota planning for all events staff at each event
  • Liaise with department staff regarding various activities/events
  • Good customer service experience
  • Dressing up in costume will be required for this position at some events
  • Knowledge of excel would be an advantage
  • A forward thinking flexible willing person with drive and enthusiasm
  • To observe all relevant Health and Safety regulations and assist in risk assessments and checklists
  • Ensure all the setting up of all event equipment including tables and chairs etc has been arranged
  • Using the card machine to take payment at events and the training of staff
  • Undertake staff training for each event
  • To liaise with the suppliers in ensuring the events run smoothly, on time and as advertised. Ensuring logistics plans are in place and communicated.
  • To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be deemed appropriate from time to time
