QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or technical certification in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in AV operations within the Events and Entertainment sector.
• Hands-on experience with sound systems, projection, LED walls, and stage lighting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in live event environments.
• Familiarity with mixing consoles, playback systems, and AV software tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in fast-paced event conditions.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled AV Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the Events and Entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment to ensure seamless technical execution across corporate events, weddings, concerts, and destination management projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, test, and operate AV equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, video conferencing, lighting, and stage equipment.
• Conduct pre-event checks to ensure functionality and quality of all technical equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting AV issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the production and operations teams to align technical requirements with event objectives.
• Maintain an inventory of AV equipment, ensuring timely servicing and reporting of technical faults.
• Assist in stage and event area setup, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Support the Technical Manager in planning and implementing AV solutions for diverse event formats.
