Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Staff to join our team. As a key member of the Events Conferencing and Banqueting department, you will assist in the setup, delivery, and breakdown of events including weddings, conferences, meetings, and private functions, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, catering, or customer service (preferred but not essential; training provided).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting
  • Staff will be required to work seasonal holidays (Christmas and New Years)
    Job Type: Part-time,
    Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Set up event spaces according to event specifications (e.g., moving tables, setting chairs, preparing decor, laying table settings).
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating and service during events.
  • Provide food and beverage service, including serving meals, drinks, and clearing tables.
  • Maintain a clean and organized event environment throughout the event.
  • Assist in the breakdown and cleanup after events.
  • Respond to guest needs and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with the Events Managers, kitchen, and other hotel departments.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Represent the hotel in a professional and positive manner at all times.
