We are looking for a Group Product Manager to focus on one of the EverPro products in our Invoicing Solutions team (Joist or Invoice Simple). Our invoicing solutions are SAAS platforms which enable small businesses to invoice their customers easily and get paid on time. Over the years we’ve supported hundreds of thousands of delighted customers using our highly rated iOS and Android apps and our website. Our customers include contractors, freelancers, owner-operators, creatives, and other small business owners.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate Group Product Manager with proven expertise in both SaaS feature development and product-led growth (PLG) strategies. Our new colleague will drive the growth of our products through data-informed decisions, customer-centric design, and iterative development. As a core leader of a product line, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap of your product areas with your team, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality customer-centric solutions.
Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Leadership:

  • Develop a bold vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals and client needs, leveraging customer interviews, user testing, and data analysis.
  • Own the business case and strategy for your area, influencing the overarching product team strategy.
  • Create and manage the roadmap for your product areas.

Strategy and Prioritization:

  • Align team initiatives with annual OKRs and long-term mission.
  • Drive prioritization with a clear focus on delivering measurable customer and business outcomes—not just shipping features.
  • Establish mechanisms for data-driven product decisions and trade-offs within your team.

Market and Customer Understanding:

  • Be an expert on users, engaging with customers and understanding market dynamics.
  • Provide thought leadership, bringing best practices and innovation to our customers.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Coaching and Mentoring:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop Product Managers, contributing to the continuous improvement of the product function.
  • Share experiences and insights to foster a culture of growth and learning.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on SaaS products.
  • Minimum of 3 years of PLG Experience: Proven track record of driving growth through PLG strategies and tactics.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of SaaS metrics, especially in a Product-Led growth environment.
  • Proven experience in Payments/Fintech industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products and features that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Strong player coach leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and growing senior product managers.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate market trends and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including senior leadership communication.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a passion for driving results.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with product management tools like Jira and Productboard.
  • Experience with PLG tools.
  • Experience with experimentation methodologies, rapid iteration and experimentation platforms like Optimizely, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience with product analytics and BI tools e.g. Looker, Amplitude, Periscope, Heap.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines across teams and domains.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a focus on teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
