On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Marketing Consultant - Expert for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

MARKETING CONSULTANT - EXPERT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role involves supporting the Everyday Banking line of business by designing, developing, and launching new products and services that enhance customer experiences and generate new revenue. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market, leveraging customer insights and market trends.

MARKETING CONSULTANT - EXPERT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Experience developing and delivering high-impact product/service experiences
  • In-depth understanding of retail banking with a digital and emerging focus
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience with both waterfall and agile project management frameworks
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Customer-first mindset

MARKETING CONSULTANT - EXPERT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Strong change management skills
  • Ability to synthesize trends in a changing retail banking environment
  • Understanding of enabling technology architecture
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in design thinking principles
Responsibilities
  • Understand multi-channel retail banking and identify transformation opportunities
  • Evaluate customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Recommend solutions for banking products and manage the delivery lifecycle
  • Leverage design thinking principles to inform product and service design
  • Assist in strategic planning and identify emerging trends
  • Provide recommendations on products within the delivery lifecycle
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships
  • Use data to drive decision-making and inform business cases
  • Partner with corporate support areas to manage risk effectively
