Description JOB SUMMARY: This position is under the direct supervision of Maintenance Manager and the indirect supervision of the General Manager. This position is located at The Stables Casino. This position controls EVS operations to inspect assigned areas to ensure the cleanliness of the casino and public area standards are met. MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintains the cleanliness, safety and sanitation of the Casino and public areas Knows safe work habits and ensures that team is following safety protocols Responds to cleaning or grounds keeping requests from other departments Identifies and reports orders of cleaning supplies and equipment needs to the Maintenance Manager Assures prompt, courteous service to all guests, internal and external Maintains cleanliness of casino, restrooms, and offices Vacuum carpets, empties trash, wipes down trash cans, dusts all areas, and cleans window glass OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate and maintain all types of cleaning equipment (Preferred) Ability to use equipment associated with position; including but not limited to the use of vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms and floor machines Maintains all work areas and ensures environmental services equipment is free of safety violations Reports any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to management Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed This position includes but is not limited to the job functions listed above. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver’s license Must have one (1) to two (2) years related experience or training Must be able to obtain and maintain a Modoc Nation Gaming License May be subject to criminal background investigation Proficient data entry skills required Must possess in high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance. Performs all duties in accordance with the gaming operations core values, objectives of the Modoc Nation, system of internal control policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
