A position has become available within the Engineering Team of a well established and successful UK manufacturing business that is a leader in its field and exports all over the world.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexible – the nature of the position can require early starts, late finish times and extended hours of driving

  • Smart in appearance (company branded workwear will be provided and must be worn)
  • Full driving licence without endorsements

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Practical engineering experience
  • Examination couch knowledge
  • UK travel for work purposes.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • Wear the required PPE that is provided.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report all accidents, near misses and potentially hazardous errors to the Health and Safety Officer and your Line Manager.
  • Practice correct manual handling procedures.

  • Attend customer sites to carry out service and repair of examination couches.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out.
  • Provide customers with a full list of options for repair or replacement of equipment.
  • Identify sales opportunities for sales staff or Service Lead.
  • Strict adherence to the planned servicing schedule
