In addition to a competitive wage there are excellent benefits including: 100% paid insurance premiums on medical, dental, and vision for the employee Employee family medical plans available 401k & Roth 401k plans with up to a 4% company match 100% paid long-term disability insurance Paid life insurance plan 1 floating holiday 6 paid holidays Sick pay Vacation pay Paid weekly Primary Responsibilities Include: Assist excavation crew with digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks Prepare, clear, and clean job sites before and after excavation Set up safety barriers, warning signs, and other site safety measures Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment Assist with drainage systems, pipe installation, or utility locating as needed Consistently meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly performance goals Fulfill on-call duties according to the department need Provide professional and courteous customer service Requirements Previous construction or excavation experience preferred Willingness to work in trenches, confined spaces, or uneven terrain Excellent customer service skills Valid driver's license Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
