What You'll Do: * Assist equipment operators, excavation managers, and skilled tradespeople to ensure projects stay on schedule. * Prepare, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment for transport to various worksites. * Utilize pipe and grade lasers with proficiency to assist in precise excavation. * Operate small power tools and hand tools (rakes, shovels, brooms) for various construction tasks. * Set up and dismantle ladders, safety barriers, and temporary structures. * Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site by securing tools and equipment daily. * Participate in on-the-job training to expand your skills in plumbing and excavation. What You Bring: * Previous experience with machine operation (excavator, backhoe, or skid steer) is a plus. * A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred; a Sewer Layer License is preferred.. * A commitment to understanding and adhering to all company safety requirements. * A self-motivated attitude with a desire to learn the trade and grow within the company. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: * Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods throughout the day. * The job requires regularly lifting and carrying heavy items, which can weigh up to 75 pounds or more. * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. May work in extreme temperatures, including heat, cold, and humidity.
