Description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety while performing various tasks in excavation and construction projects. This position requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, common sense, skill /task pretension and the ability to operate heavy machinery effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in loader operation, commercial driving, bulldozer operation, grader operation, backhoe operation, or similar roles is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as plate packers, J-Tampers, grade stick, rake, shovel, spotter, hot shot. Skid steer, mini-hoe, water truck.
  • Assist in hydro -vac operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in site preparation activities, including clearing debris and leveling ground.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
