Requirements Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise daily activities of a 2-5-person crew. Operate heavy excavation equipment Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill sanitary sewer, storm sewer, gas mains, water mains and fire mains. Coordinate equipment and material deliveries to the job site. sequence pipe installation and workflow for job efficiency. Continually inspect work site, surveying for potential hazards or safety concerns. Responsible for crew safety. Establish a safe work environment that complies with the Company safety program and OSHA. Ability to read, analyze and interpret job plans and specifications. Ability to layout line and grade using surveying equipment. Observe assigned equipment to detect machinery malfunctions. Assure the proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Analyze job cost reports to ensure production is within budget. Review and approve employee time reporting. Maintain professional relationship with others within the company and our clients. Must be able to carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds ·Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Excavation and Site-Utility. Ability to coordinate and motivate field labor. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. OSHA 30 preferred. Ohio Fire main license preferred.
