Description Overview: Master is looking for Excavation Technicians safely and skillfully operate heavy equipment to complete a variety of projects, including locating and repairing broken water and sewer lines, installation of new septic systems, and many other types of projects. Key Responsibilities: site preparation, trenching, and backfilling on excavation jobs Hand dig in areas with limited machine access as needed Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment Spot and guide equipment operators to maintain jobsite safety Clean and maintain tools, trailers, and equipment after use Follow all safety protocols, signage requirements, and dig regulations Support plumbers and operators with pipe placement, measurements, and inspections Attend required training and jobsite safety meetings Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 6 months excavation or general labor experience CDL needed but willing to help with meeting this requirement within a 6 month timeframe Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work outdoors, and handle physical labor daily Comfortable working in trenches, crawlspaces, and around heavy equipment Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred Must pass background check and drug screening Competitive hourly rate plus bonus program.
