Excavator operator and play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our crushing plant. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator operators to oversee operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment operation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a mining or aggregate environment.

• Proven experience operating excavators in a commercial setting is essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Excavator, you will oversee daily operations of the crushing crew, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, equipment maintenance, and team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and monitor crushing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of crusher operators and labourers.
• Conduct daily inspections and coordinate maintenance with mechanics.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Supervise daily operations and manage a team of workers to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and participate in groundwork.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with management to plan and execute projects efficiently.
• Assist in building projects from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met.
