OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery on various construction sites. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience in operating multiple types of heavy equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
• Commercial driving experience is preferred for transporting equipment and materials.
• Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar models, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks.
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks to complete construction tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to execute project plans effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
• Assist in horizontal drilling operations as needed.
• Transport materials using dump trucks or tankers when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
