EDUCATION:

• Clean drivers abstract
• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) Certification
• Active Ground Disturbance

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, during the work season, April to December.
• Must be physically fit to perform manual labour in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting.
• Must have CSA-approved safety boots.

To effectively complete the responsibilities of this position, the candidate must be able to complete the following:

• Complete hazard assessments
• Complete daily preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Able to excavate mainline and service trenches
• Able to excavate tie-ins
• Crane pipe
• Operate a hoe packer
