Building Co., a fifth-generation family-owned construction company, is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator/Tradesman to join our team in the water and wastewater sector. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to building critical infrastructure that serves our communities. What You’ll Do: Operate and maintain a wide range of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, forklifts, etc.). Perform manual construction tasks when not operating equipment (digging, grading, formwork, concrete work, pipe installation). Follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and set the standard for safe operations. Support your crew by keeping equipment, tools, and work areas clean and maintained. Communicate effectively with supervisors to keep projects on track and meet quality standards. What We’re Looking For: Experience with construction equipment operations (water/wastewater a plus). Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safe work practices. Valid driver’s license required; certifications on equipment preferred. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor outdoors. Team player with solid judgment, problem-solving, and time management skills. Why Vogel Bros.?
