Description
Special Education Teacher – 6th Grade Resource Room Our Organization is looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to support 6th-grade students in a resource room environment. This position blends push-in and pull-out services, offering both classroom collaboration and individualized instruction to meet each student’s needs. You’ll manage a caseload of about 17 students, focusing on academic growth, social-emotional development, and goal progress aligned with IEPs. Collaboration is key—you’ll partner with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure every learner has the tools to succeed. Requirements Experience working with middle school students is preferred. Strong skills in collaboration, organization, and differentiation. Knowledge of IEP development and implementation best practices. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. A master's degree is a plus.
