We are looking for a special educator that works well on a team with small class sizes. With smaller numbers, the teacher would primarily work one-on-one with students with mild disabilities. Required:
Ability to work with at-risk youth
Arizona Cross Categorical Certificate
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
Prepared to teach in a non-traditional, computer based environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
Flexible availability to work one or two evenings a week, with mornings free on those days
Helpful:
Bilingual, Spanish/English
Highly Qualified in additional subject areas

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for around 10 students with exceptionalities, ensuring their academic and social growth.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to address students’ individual needs and progress.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and progress.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
