Description
Company Description Would you like to make a difference while evolving in a dynamic and inclusive culture founded on cooperation, curiosity, and high ambitions? Are you at the final stages of your bachelor’s degree or at the first year of your master’s degree, and are you ready to embark on a life-long learning journey in a leading global consulting firm? If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Who we are By joining Deloitte Finance Transformation, you will get to collaborate with experienced consultants on a wide variety of assignments and development opportunities. We work with different project sizes across finance disciplines and industries, but the foundation is always the same: Our genuine passion for the CFO area and creating value together with our clients. Finance Transformation is part of Deloitte Technology & Transformation (former Consulting) consisting of more than 350 consultants in Denmark who work across all areas of the CFO function. We engage with clients to operate, advise, optimize, and transform their finance functions. Our clients range from domestic to international, from private to public, across various industries, sizes, and time horizons. You will join a team that emphasizes collaboration, collegiality, coaching, and talent development. At Deloitte, we value diverse skills, experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment. Job Description Being an Associate Analyst (student assistant) at Deloitte Finance Transformation, you will experience that no workdays are the same. You will face a wide range of tasks, both in the form of internal business development and external client-related assignments. The position provides you with invaluable experience within consulting and across finance disciplines, ultimately equipping you to apply for a full-time position in Deloitte Finance Transformation. We go a long way to match you with the right assignments based on your competencies, preferences, and development aspirations. You may, however, be exposed to clients or assignments that are different from what you expected initially or that are outside of your comfort zone. While considering your individual preferences when staffing you on assignments, we believe that no one knows where their interests truly lie before having tried different kinds of projects and assignments in practice. Exciting tasks await you Based on the specific client's needs and your interests, experiences, and competencies, typical assignments and projects could be within the scope of: Operational finance tasks and payroll processing, e.g., bookkeeping, controlling, month-end closing, and payroll optimization Transformation and digitalization of finance functions, e.g., process optimization, closing excellence, internal controls advisory, and leveraging technology solutions Enterprise performance management, e.g., analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting ERP-enabled finance transformations and finance systems implementation, e.g., outlining the ERP-strategy, defining business requirements and ensuring consistent data migration Finance strategy and operating model, e.g., designing service delivery models, outlining roles and responsibilities and conducting assessments Global business services transformations, e.g., assessing, developing and implementing shared service functions and aligning service delivery with corporate strategy Internal business development and leadership support, e.g., assisting on client proposals, facilitating events and developing material to strengthen our market offerings Learning, leadership and culture At Deloitte, we believe in life-long learning, and we are committed to investing in your individual development, both professionally and personally. We believe that learning is most effectively fostered through the right combination of on-the-job training, guidance and feedback, and internal courses. To reflect this, we apply a 70-20-10 learning perspective, meaning that 70% of your learning is expected to come from projects and assignments, 20% from coaching and guidance, and the remaining 10% from internal courses and classroom training. To support your learning, you will be assigned a Talent Manager as your closest leader and go-to sparring partner. Your Talent Manager will help you set the overall direction of your journey in Deloitte and provide guidance to make sure that your individual aspirations and development goals are met. Every development path is unique, and together with your Talent Manager you get the chance to shape your own. We believe in leadership at all levels, and we have committed ourselves to creating and maintaining an inclusive and psychologically safe culture, where you are encouraged and empowered to take responsibility while leading both yourself and others. We combine this with a substantial focus on continuously staying relevant and being a meaningful social community to our people. We are a people’s business, and therefore we strongly believe that this is an essential prerequisite for making an impact that truly matters – for ourselves and for our clients. Qualifications Who are we looking for? We are looking for you, who are passionate about consulting and the CFO-area and who are willing to go the extra mile to deliver sustainable impact that truly matters to our clients. You show an eagerness to make a difference for both clients and colleagues and you are able to see the opportunities and potential in all types of assignments. As our business can be highly changeable, it is important that you are curious by nature, and that you face challenges with an open-minded and solution-oriented approach. In addition to this, you: Are currently enrolled on a bachelor’s or the first year of a master’s programme within the fields of finance, economics, business, accounting, social sciences, IT, or similar areas Have achieved academic results that you are proud of Demonstrate a flair for both oral and written communication and are fluent in English Have a legal working permit in Denmark Although relevant job experience might be an advantage, this is not a requirement. Additional Information Note that this is a student position, meaning that we do not consider applicants who have already graduated or who expect to graduate in the summer of 2026. As the position is part-time, you can expect a workload of 15 to 20 hours per week. We do, however, offer you the flexibility to scale up and down as needed – e.g., around exams. How to apply Click the "I'm interested"-button above and upload your CV and grade transcripts from your bachelor’s and – if applicable – master’s degree if you are interested and ready to join our team. Instead of an application letter, we would like you to answer the questions you will be presented with on the next pages (please only consider the required (*) fields). As we process applications and arrange interviews on an ongoing basis, we recommend that you apply as soon as possible. Final deadline for applying is 18.12.2025. Please do not hesitate to contact Jakob Stampe Nielsen at [email protected] or +45 21 12 28 20 if you have any questions about the position. We look forward to connecting with you! In Deloitte, you will find passionate, caring people who are curious by nature and striving to evolve. We value our different skills, perspectives and experiences and foster an environment where innovative powers thrive. To us, success is the feeling that the work we are doing will outlast us. The impact we make is not about what we achieve as individuals, but how we enable those around us to be their very best. From professional development to leadership opportunities, we empower our people to be extraordinary by playing to their strengths – because that is how we can make a difference.
