ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Availability to work four afternoon shifts weekly.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when needed.
  • A strong willingness to learn and grow.
  • Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

    Pay: $29.96 – $36.24 per hour
Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Kids United OSHC team, you will:

  • Assist in delivering high-quality, educational, safe, and fun programs.
  • Align our programs with the ‘My Time Our Place’ framework.
  • Communicate and engage with children, families, and team members positively and respectfully.
  • Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
  • Support the development of children in our care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks.
  • Supervise children and ensure their safety.
  • Perform light cleaning duties.
  • Prepare breakfast and afternoon tea.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings.
