Job Description Key responsibilities: Governance and execution : Ensure consistency of the governance, including timeframe, attendance , agenda & minutes Control execution of the roadmap against plan, and anticipate deviation, lead the identification of workarounds to achieve the target (budget, benefits KPIs – efficiency & savings, growth) Financial Planning & Control: Develop, track, and maintain project budgets for large and complex initiatives, ensuring accurate allocation of resources across functional streams. Change forum Prepare the change forum: budget consumption , deliverables per project for the next quarter and individual costing Publish all necessary report and presentations : for TOCA (Ana Botin’s 10 strategic initiatives forum), Global PMO governance, Workiva/Kairos governances), execution curve monitoring Prepare and deliver financial and project performance reports to senior management, providing transparency on progress, risks, and resource utilization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or related field. 4-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst role within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), with strong knowledge of lending products and distribution methods. Knowledge and experience with Santander CIB process and systems in the Finance & controls area Demonstrated experience in budgeting, project controlling, and financial monitoring for large or complex projects. Capacity to work independently and find the balance between engaging with team to find solution and necessary escalation to management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to work at the intersection of business requirements and financial governance.
