JOB TITLE EXECUTIVE � ACCOUNTS (TAXATION) Department / Division   Finance & Accounts External Interface (Enlist external agencies/authorities that you are required to deal with while discharging your duty) * Auditors  * Statutory/ Regulatory agencies (Service Tax department, etc) * Retailers * Outsourced Service Tax processing agency staff * Vendors/ Agencies Minimum Qualification (i.e education, training etc.) * B.Com / M.Com     Minimum Experience   * Around 2-5 years (preferably in construction industry), in a similar/ accounts payable role   Special Skills/Attributes (required for performing the job effectively) * Sound  Knowledge of Service Tax Act/ guidelines * Understanding of Statutory/ Regulatory Compliance Management Overall Purpose/Objective Of the job Undertake various procedural requirements related to determination and discharge of service tax liabilities in a timely and accurate manner and ensure that the same is in compliance with all statutory/ regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities (List major responsibilities, that you have,  to achieve the key objectives) * Collate information pertaining to day-to-day receipts to provide inputs to the outsourced agency for calculation of service tax amount, coordination with the agency for timely calculation of the service tax and verify the same * Ensure payment of the Service Tax liability within timeline defined by the Corporate and then file returns( monthly / half-yearly / annual / revised) with the concerned authorities post receipt of required confirmation/ challans towards payment of Service Tax liability * Provide support to external CA agencies/  statutory authorities for the purpose of statutory audit * In case of any litigations, coordinate with the Legal department to provide timely and accurate information / data till the conclusion of the legal proceedings * Ensure proper filing and documentation of all records as per defined processes, Compile and safely store Service Tax records such as returns, copies of challan, copies of show cause notices and supporting data, assessment orders etc
