Responsibilities
  • Answers telephone and relays appropriate messages in a timely manner using appropriate etiquette.
  • Assists with mailings in a timely manner as requested.
  • Coordinates meetings and maintains calendars as needed.
  • EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES: Coordinates and maintains ordering supplies for the Hospital Administration Office.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ethics and Compliance Expectations 1. All employees will be held accountable for behaviors displayed relative to the values articulated in the Mission and Values Statement. “Will act with absolute honest, integrity and fairness in the way we conduct our business and the way we live our lives.” 2. All employees will be held accountable for attending training regarding the Code of Conduct program at least annually.
  • Greetings hospital staff and visitors and provides appropriate directions and assistance.
  • INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR: Communicates openly, directly, tactfully and effectively. Respects the opinions and concerns of others, approaches problems in a positive, solution-oriented manner.
  • Maintains inventory of equipment for the department; schedules and delivers equipment to meet the needs of the Hospital Administration office.
  • Maintains knowledge and skills needed to organize and complete special projects.
  • Provides secretarial support for Hospital Administrator.
  • RECEPTIONIST & SECRETARIAL: Acts as the Receptionist for administration, answering inquiries of a general nature by the hospital staff, leadership, patients and families, community and visitors.
  • RECORDKEEPING: Implements and maintains department record and reporting system.
