We are seeking a professional, proactive, highly organised, and motivated administrator to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with the executive management team, providing comprehensive, responsive and efficient support while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and manage your own workload. You will need excellent communication skills, with the capacity to handle urgent executive matters, take initiative and make appropriate low-level decisions as required. A key part of the role involves supporting the executive team in delivering on key priorities by liaising confidently with both internal and external stakeholders, using strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships.
You will manage and maintain a complex diary for the executive team, ensuring that actions are followed up promptly. Responsibilities include booking meetings and catering when required, arranging travel and accommodation, taking accurate minutes in meetings, circulating edited versions to the relevant people and ensuring that post-meeting actions are completed. You will also collate complex month-end reports, undertake event or project management on behalf of the executive team, and provide general organisational support to ensure the smooth running of the department.
The role requires someone with strong organisational skills, adaptability and the ability to provide high-quality, professional administrative support that is timely, accurate and discreet. You must be able to resolve queries efficiently, manage executive diaries, emails and appointments, and collate and deliver month-end reports. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Officeincluding Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teamsis essential, along with the ability to prepare meetings and presentations, take accurate minutes, track actions and work effectively under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in a similar role, such as PA or secretarial support, coupled with highly confident IT skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential, as is the capacity to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
In return, we can offer an attractive base salary of £28-£30k, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, a 5% employer pension contribution and Medicash.
