This is a unique opportunity to work alongside Abri’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Jo Makinson. Jo is responsible for the Group’s investment strategy, ensuring Abri can deliver more needed affordable homes and maintain the quality of its existing stock.
Are you a proactive, dedicated, resilient and highly organised individual? Initially this would be six months fixed term role for an Executive Assistant, based in Eastleigh but offering flexible working opportunities and an element of travel to other Abri offices in Yeovil, Bracknell & London.
We are looking for someone who has the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels. You will provide support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) on many fronts and be able to identify and anticipate her requirements.
You will be highly literate and numerate with strong emotional intelligence, naturally inquisitive and super proactive in your approach. Able to work both autonomously and as part of the wider Executive Assistant team.
You will need commercial awareness and to be able to quickly build up an understanding of our business requirements. The role includes tasks such as diary management, inbox monitoring on the Chief Investment Officer (CIO)’s behalf, alongside assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations and data/information gathering on the Chief Investment Officer (CIO)’s behalf.
Abri prides itself on being a Great Place to Work with the aim of achieving outstanding business results.
If you feel you can provide the highest level of support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and add positive value in a fast-paced environment apply today!
Interview will take place at week commencing 16 June 2025 and week commencing 23 June 2025.
Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 55,000 homes and various community assets, serving more than 120,000 customers across the South of England.
We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?
We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.
As we grow, we’re re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with their local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
