AMSG is seeking an Executive Assistant with Marine Corps experience.
AMSG supports a variety of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Washington Headquarters Services, and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) programs with mission support & operations, financial, technology & information, and knowledge management services. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to interact daily with the Marine Corps customer in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including multi-tasking and prioritizing requirements.
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership.
  • Ability to forecast and be proactive to requirements/needs.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, ETMS2.
  • Familiarity with DTS, DISS, and DON correspondence standards.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MCCDC or HQMC with knowledge of Marine Corps operations and staffing processes is a definite plus.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Prepare memos, agendas, meeting notes, and binders; maintain rosters, org charts, and supplies; answer calls, manage communications (incl. classified), and ensure compliance with DON standards.
  • Meetings/Events: Schedule and de-conflict meetings; prepare agendas, read-ahead binders, and event materials; act as recording secretary; manage calendars, logistics, and travel; coordinate Pentagon/off-site conference spaces.
  • Task Management (ETMS2): Draft/format correspondence and reports; maintain documentation; disseminate task guidance with suspense dates/review levels; consolidate and coordinate responses.
  • Document Management: Maintain filing systems (paper/electronic); track taskers in ETMS2/SharePoint; copy/print/scan/shred/fax in compliance with security protocols.
  • Defense Travel System (DTS): Arrange travel; prepare itineraries/orders/vouchers; review submissions for JTR compliance; maintain travel files per retention requirements.
  • Security Support (DISS): Process/validate clearance and visit requests for classified meetings.
  • IT/Facilities Requests: Submit and track support requests; collect meeting requirements (BLUF, outcomes, VTC/teleconference needs)
