THE OPPORTUNITY

Our administrative professionals are central to enabling this work, and right now, we’re seeking a skilled and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Director of CSIRO’s Agriculture and Food Research Unit. YOUR HIGH-LEVEL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Managing the Director’s schedule, meetings, travel arrangements and correspondence.
  • Monitoring and prioritising incoming communications, using judgement and initiative to manage and action as needed.
  • Following up on issues and tasks to ensure timely completion across the leadership team.
  • Contributing to internal communications (e.g. newsletters, webpages, emails) from the Director’s office to staff.
  • Leading or contributing to projects or initiatives, e.g. stakeholder coordination, internal engagement, as directed by the Director.
  • Assisting with meetings and events including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute taking and presentation support.
  • Establishing and maintaining electronic document and records management systems.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating across teams to support effective operations in the business unit.

Salary: AU$96k – $109k plus 15.4% superannuation
