Our primary business is real estate acquisition and property management, but we also make investments in a variety of sectors. While real estate is our core focus; we have a number of businesses that you will provide support across. This is a fully in-person position at our office near King and Spadina.

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Our Vice President is hiring an Executive Assistant. This role is for a confident self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and strong research abilities. There is significant opportunity for growth within our organization.
This is a full-time position and you will be required to work from 9-5PM. There will be times when you have more flexibility or will be required to handle tasks after hours.
You will work very closely with our VP and have the opportunity to explore projects across a number of different sectors, meet industry leaders, and contribute at the ground-floor on new ventures.
This role does not require previous experience as an EA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calendar Management: Scheduling meetings and organizing our VPs personal schedule.
  • Project Management: Maintaining a database of ongoing projects and ensuring that deadlines are being met.
  • To-Do Management: Organize tasks daily, depending on urgency and level of importance.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain a large network of personal and business contacts, including tracking birthdays, personal details, and ongoing business relationships.
  • Conducting Research: Must be comfortable conducting both basic research and more complicated research tasks
  • Documenting workflows: Organize and document all workflows, key information about our VP, and the property management workflows of our general manager.
  • Visiting Building Sites: Inspecting buildings, liaising with superintendents, and attending due diligence visits for prospective acquisitions.
  • Reviewing and verifying invoices
  • Occasional Receptionist Duties: Greeting people when they come into the office, offering them a drink, etc.
  • Occasional Note-Taking During Meetings
  • Errands: Occasional errands throughout the city ranging from making purchases to delivering gifts.
  • Travel Arrangements: Create itineraries and book flights, hotels, restaurants, etc
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
