An Executive Assistant (EA) reports contributes to AHF by assisting the President and the Senior Vice President as the division point of contact for the President and Senior Vice President. The EA has a welcoming presence and is the epicenter of knowledge and communication for the President. The EA reports to the Chief of Staff and assists the President and Senior Vice President by funneling critical information within the organization, both internally and externally. The EA will lead assigned tasks and projects under the direction of the President, acting as a liaison between departments to connect employees with the appropriate contacts or Subject Matter Experts. Responsibilities include scheduling travel and conference activities through AmTrav and other approved methods, preparing monthly expense reports for review, generating and distributing reports and written communications, and managing the President’s and Senior Vice President’s appointments. The EA enhances the reputation of AHF through understanding the importance and value of time management and contributes to improving the organization for the President by utilizing the latest technology and communication techniques. The EA is nimble in approaching various situations and communications with internal and external personnel and should exemplify the divisions' ability to “fight for what’s right” through clear documentation and organization. Assist the senior vice president, a liaison to the board, and participate in boarding meetings. Additional tasks and responsibilities are assigned as needed.
