JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Owner and Executive Director of Chick-fil-A. This role is pivotal in managing both business and personal responsibilities, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Owner & Executive Director, and must be local to the Arlington, TX area, available for weekly in-person meetings, and possess the flexibility to handle tasks from Monday through Saturday at any time during our restaurant hours. The Executive Assistant will work from the restaurant, and will be expected to attend events and meetings. This is not a remote position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email management.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible availability and local presence for frequent in-person meetings and phone calls.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
  • Email Management: Efficiently manage and respond to emails, prioritizing important communications and maintaining overall email literacy and proficiency.
  • Scheduling & Commitments: Organize and coordinate meetings, ensuring the Owner and Executive Director are prepared and punctual. Assist in coordinating leadership time off and handle evolving job responsibilities.
  • Business Errands: Handle various business-related errands as needed.
  • Community Engagement: Assist with tasks related to community involvement, board memberships, and other external commitments.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, edit, and manage documents using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and One Drive.
  • Proactive Support: Anticipate the Owner & Executive Assistant, providing proactive solutions and demonstrating a go-getter attitude.
  • HR Responsibilities: Support some HR-related tasks, contributing to a well-organized and efficient workplace.
