Title: Executive and Governance Assistant
Reports to: President and CEO
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: $60,000 – 72,000

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education required in a related field;
  • 5-7 years experience supporting C-Level Executives, preferably in a non-profit organization and a minimum of 2 years experience working with a board of directors;
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors;
  • Expert level interpersonal and communication skills; both oral and written;
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability;
  • Adaptable, resourceful team-player who can also be effective independently;
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate high level of customer / client service;
  • Knowledge of non-profit governance a strong asset;
  • French language skills are an asset; and
  • Ability to work a flexible sc
