An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Executive Assistant Hotel Manager to join the leadership team at Adina Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront. About the Hotel Located on Darwin's iconic waterfront promenade, Adina Vibe Hotel Darwin Waterfront is a full-service hotel featuring 121 contemporary guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, including Salted Egg restaurant, conference and event facilities, and leisure amenities. Surrounded by popular dining, entertainment and tourism attractions, the hotel is a key part of Darwin's vibrant Waterfront precinct. About the Opportunity You will be the go-to person for operational support, guest resolution, team leadership and business performance, while acting as the General Manager's trusted second-in-command. This is a true all-rounder role where you'll balance strategic leadership with operational involvement, helping to drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, safety compliance and commercial success. Key responsibilities include: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth departmental performance, and high presentation standards across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Conferencing. Drive commercial success through budgeting, forecasting, labour management, revenue optimisation, performance analysis, and financial controls including debtors, audits and purchasing. Foster a high-performing team culture by recruiting, coaching and developing team members, conducting performance reviews, and leading employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Act as the General Manager's second-in-command, providing hands-on operational support, managing guest feedback and resolving issues quickly and professionally. Ensure compliance with all WHS, food safety, risk management and hotel operating standards, maintaining a strong safety-first culture for guests and team members. Support strategic business objectives through workforce planning, capital improvement projects, revenue initiatives and continuous operational improvement across the hotel. What You’ll Bring 3+ years' experience in a hotel leadership position Strong operational experience across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage and Conference & Events (full service hotel) Proven success leading teams and building positive workplace cultures Excellent commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour costs and business performance Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills A hands-on, adaptable leadership style The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a dynamic environment Why join TFE Hotels?
