The Amazon Transportation Services and Supply Chain Assistant II (EA ATS/ SC) supports two Directors under Mexico Operations. The directors that this role support, consist of 14 Senior leaders. Additionally, this role is responsible for the coordination and development of General Manager Assistants that support the Directors and Senior Managers of Operations. The ATS/SC EA II serves as a strategic partner and integrator for senior leadership. This position is responsible for aligning complex, cross-functional initiatives across the organization, driving standardized processes, and translating high-level strategy into executable plans. The ATS/SC EA II acts as a key communicator, liaison, and change agent to ensure organizational objectives are achieved. In addition to coordinating Operations teams, this leader needs to work with several local and global teams. The ATS/SC II exhibits proficiency and efficacy in core program management skills, such as yearly plan, granular calendar management, agenda prioritization, travel and large events coordination. The ATS/SC EA II manages the complexities of different teams needs and understands organization priorities to make critical decisions about how to handle many stakeholder requests. This role demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, and can independently produce polished team communication. The role is trusted to present to the Directors detailed agendas, event plans, draft communications, and solve escalation related to coordination on behalf of the Fulfillment and ATS organization. This leader must influence multi-functionally, and earn trust and respect at all levels. Excels at short and long-term problem solving by thinking ahead, developing solutions and improving them across multiple stakeholder groups, comfortably transitioning in this space between the big picture and day-to-day. This leader requires to demonstrate a high level of autonomy and organization, ability to adjust to last minute notice, attention to detail, high performance, judgement as to when to engage managers or not, and ability to see the big picture, this to help make the Directors more efficient. Key job responsibilities • Complex calendar management and meeting organization. • Travel coordination and expenses reconciliation. • Streamline internal and external communications to maximize team productivity. • Track and help drive completion of key leadership deliverables. • Ensure effective dissemination of information from central teams. • Manage and maintain confidential information. • Plan team events, have fun at work and help others do the same.
