Description Maine Veterans' Homes (MVH) is a mission-driven organization that provides long-term care, rehabilitation, and support services to Maine’s Veterans and their families across six homes statewide. We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees in their roles and responsibilities. Why This Role Is Special The Executive Assistant plays an important role in supporting executive leadership and board activities at Maine Veterans’ Homes. This position provides administrative and clerical support and coordinates meetings, events, office operations, and special projects to ensure the Home Office operates efficiently and effectively. What You’ll Do Provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Coordinate board meeting planning, travel arrangements, meeting minutes, and board records, and manage the board portal while providing technical assistance to members. Assist executive leadership with scheduling appointments, travel and meeting arrangements, correspondence, and special needs as requested, while proactively confirming meetings and arrangements. Support office administration, including answering calls, welcoming visitors, managing Home Office supplies and resources, maintaining files and compliance documentation, and coordinating MVH policy review and posting. Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, special events, and fundraising or public relations activities, and assist with special projects and organizational initiatives. Assist with contract administration, including preparing, examining, renewing, and revising contracts and monitoring agreements for accuracy and compliance. Why Join MVH?
