EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/ BILLING AND CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST

LeadingChoice Network is a member-owned network of 67 high performing Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living WI providers with the office in Madison, WI.

Our mission is to improve the delivery of care in partnership with health plans and health systems. We are seeking an efficient, self-directed Executive Assistant/ Billing and Credentialing Specialist to provide support to the LeadingChoice Network (LCN) staff and members. Key contributions include:

  • Maintains individual files for each participating member, including coordinating member credentials, facility listings in contracts, and updating member contact and profile information.
  • Coordinates credentialing for each provider within respective contracts.
  • Assists in troubleshooting claims and billing issues with member facilities.
  • Coordinates the Member’s business office staff networking groups consisting of billing, finance and admissions staff.
  • Assists in providing education sessions via webinars and meetings.
  • Monitors the completion and submission of performance data by Network; primarily using an established SharePoint platform.
  • Updates and posts necessary information to ensure members have access to health plan contracts and other pertinent data, such as contract summaries and fact sheets.
  • Prepares monthly data reports, graphs as needed for reports to leadership or for individual meetings with facilities, health plans, and health systems.
  • Provides administrative support for Network CEO and other staff, Board and related committee meetings, including PowerPoint presentations, preparing reports, sending materials out and coordination of webinars and meetings.
  • Attends Board and Committee meetings and prepares written minutes of such meetings.
  • Coordinates and manages events such as all-member annual meeting, educational workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Tracks financial expenditures and creates invoices as needed.
  • Manage vendors with office functioning services, i.e. IT, internet, online meeting services, survey services.
  • Oversees the public facing website and updates marketing materials when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative support position is required; experience in healthcare, especially long-term senior care is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and organization, especially with data and paperwork, is required.
  • Ability and willingness to understand health care reimbursement, medical terminology, and claims /billing activities is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as event management skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is required.
  • Must have knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers, familiarity with databases, virtual meetings technology, and the following software programs: Adobe, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • History of integrity, honesty, high-accountability, and professionalism is required.
  • Ability to work in an efficient, self-directed manner, and anticipate progressive next steps is required.
