Position Summary:
Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Chief Medical Officer and the Medical Affairs department, addressing complex demands with professionalism and efficiency. Assist Medical Staff leaders, Hospital leadership, and Medical Staff Services team members as deemed necessary. Prepare reports, maintain meeting agendas, minutes, and support documentation while managing correspondence, call schedules, meeting reminders, rosters, and any assigned duties. Interface effectively with high-level Executives, Hospital Leadership, and Medical Staff, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to corporate, legal, and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA. Ensure that information sharing follows on a need-to-know basis. Under the authority of the CME Committee, develop curricula for CME programs and coordinate educational activities. Demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while independently resolving issues with minimal guidance.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or healthcare related field required.
Training and Experience:
Job Knowledge:
Strong language skills, including the ability to read and analyze information critically, while effectively communicating and responding to inquiries from diverse hospital stakeholders.
